Zheng Xuxu, female, Han nationality, born in Changshou County, Chongqing in October 1964, started to work in July 1986, is a member of the CPC, professor, doctor, a member of the Party Standing Committee and a vice president of Chongqing Jiaotong University.
She graduated from the Chemistry Division of Beijing Normal University, obtaining her Bachelor of Science. She served successively as the deputy director and director of the Department of Chemical Engineering of Yuzhou University from July 1986 to October 2002 (September 1996 – July 1999 studied as a graduate student in Physical Chemistry of Department of Chemistry, Chongqing University, obtaining her Master of Science; in December, 2000, she was promoted as an associate professor); as the dean of Environmental and Biological Engineering, principal assistant, a vice president and a member of the Party Standing Committee in Chongqing Technology and Business University from October, 2002 to July, 2017 (September, 1999 – December, 2003 studied as a doctoral candidate in Biomedical Engineering, Bio-engineering College, Chongqing University, obtaining her PhD in engineering; in December, 2005, she was promoted as a professor); Since July, 2017, she has been a member of the Party Standing Committee and a vice president of Chongqing Jiaotong University.
She has been engaged in teaching and scientific research for long term in fields of chemical engineering and technology, environmental science and engineering, etc. She’s one of young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions, one of academic leaders, one of hundreds of academic discipline leaders, leading talent in technology innovation, and a member of the fourth Standing Committee in Chongqing, the vice chairman of Chongqing Chemical Society, and an evaluation expert for various domestic and foreign journals. She has presided over 20 national, provincial and ministerial research projects in recent five years, published more than 20 papers of SCI and EI in public, and obtained over 10 state authorized patents for invention, nearly 10 published monographs, teaching materials and collected papers as the chief editor, obtained 5 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, and 5 national and Chongqing teaching achievement awards.
