Recently, the Ministry of Education released a list of new colleges and universities in China mainland which win the qualifications to recruit and cultivate postgraduate and doctoral students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, and our University was in the list. In addition, our University is also the only one newly approved by the Ministry of Education this year to obtain the qualification to recruit both postgraduate and doctoral students. According to the official document of the Ministry of Education, our University will formally recruit postgraduate and doctoral students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan since 2023.

We attach great importance to the recruitment and cultivation of students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. Since we had been approved to recruit undergraduate students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan in 2013, we have continuously attracted students from these regions to study at our University by virtue of our disciplinary and major advantages . The recruitment, cultivation, management, and service provision of such students have been progressed steadily and we have gained a good reputation from the society . Up to now, we have recruited and cultivated 19 undergraduate students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.

Such a qualification approval is the recognition of our education standard and comprehensive strength by the Ministry of Education, which is of positive significance to enrich our recruitment types, extend the source of students , strengthen multi-level and wide-ranging educational exchanges and cooperation with Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, improve the level of talent cultivation and scientific research, and expand our social influence.
