Inspire hope and make dreams come true! “I dare to break, I will innovate!” On the afternoon of August 3rd, 2023, the Championship of “China Communications Information & Technology Cup” the 9^th China International “Internet ⁺” Innovation and Entrepreneurship for College Students in Chongqing was held in the academic exchange center of Nan’an Campus of Chongqing Jiaotong University. More than 3,000 students from universities located in Chongqing gathered in the campus of Chongqing Jiaotong University at the foot of the Qinglong Mountain. They were full of vigor and high morale. They competed in creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, and showed their courage to sharpen their swords for three years, striving to cast a new benchmark for innovation and entrepreneurship of young students in Chongqing!

At the stage of the championship, leaders from the “energy to the future” program team of Chongqing University, the “anchor to the world, carbon to the future - ultra-high performance carbon fiber cable” program team of Chongqing University of Science and Technology, the “flies emerge as needed” program team of Chongqing Vocational Institute of Engineering, the “Three hundred thousand college students - comprehensive practice and growth platform for college students” of Chongqing Sanxia Institute, the “Qianshi technology - a new benchmark for energy saving technology industry of lithium battery copper foil” of Chongqing Jiaotong University, and the “ice moon technology - water guide with completely independent intellectual property rights” program team of Chongqing Jiaotong University took the stage in turn to carry out competitive performances. In the end, the program team of “Qianshi Technology - New Benchmark of Energy-saving Technology Industry for Lithium Battery Copper Foil” of Chongqing Jiaotong University won the final championship of the 9^th China International “Internet ⁺” Innovation and Entrepreneurship for College Students in Chongqing;

The “energy to the future” program team of Chongqing University won the runner-up in the final;

The “anchor to the world, carbon to the future - ultra-high performance carbon fiber cable” program team of Chongqing University of Science and Technology won the third place in the final.

At the award presentation stage of the competition, the organizers presented awards to the representatives of winning teams of the Chongqing Gold Award, 20 Outstanding Organization Award Winning Schools, as well as the champion, first runner-up and second runner-up teams of the final of the 9^th China International “Internet ⁺” Innovation and Entrepreneurship for College Students in Chongqing. From August 4th to 5th, 96 teams will be selected to participate in the national training camp of the 9^th China International “Internet ⁺” Innovation and Entrepreneurship for College Students in Chongqing.

The China International “Internet ⁺” Innovation and Entrepreneurship for College Students is co-sponsored by 12 ministries including the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and the Local People’s Government, and has been held for nine consecutive times since its inception in 2015. The theme of the competition is that “I dare to break, I will innovate”, aiming to implement the fundamental task of cultivating people with virtue, inherit and carry forward the revolution tradition and focus on the “five educations” integrated with the practice of innovation and entrepreneurship education, thereby starting a new journey of innovation and entrepreneurship education reform. China International “Internet ⁺” Innovation and Entrepreneurship for College Students covers the main events such as “Youth Red Dream Journey” and concurrent activities, where the main events include five aspects, namely, the higher learning, Youth Red Dream Journey, the vocational education, the industrial proposition, and the start-up stage. After the preliminary rounds of the school competition and the review rounds of the municipal competition in Chongqing, a total of 260 programs of higher education, 110 programs of “Youth Red Dream Journey”, and 110 programs of vocational education were selected for the on-site final rounds.

The competition has been supported by the competent authorities under Chongqing Municipal People’s Government and relevant organs all over the country. of which, China Communications Information Technology Group Co., Ltd. is a professional sub-group wholly established by China Communications Construction Group (CCCG) around the theme of “innovation, transformation and control”. It aims to comprehensively improve the digitalization level of CCCG, accelerate the digitalization process and promote the development of information industrialization. It is selected as a benchmarking enterprise included in the “Initiative for Reforming the 100 Central Enterprises and 100 State-owned Enterprises”, a national high-tech enterprise, and a technical support organization for major projects and pilot projects of the Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China.
