Summary: On the morning of April 17th, 2023, Chongqing Jiaotong University held a mobilization meeting for the thematic education on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era in the multifunctional hall on the fourth floor of the Second Teaching Building on the Nan'an campus. The meeting aimed to deeply study and implement the spirit of the central thematic education work conference and the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping, fully implement the municipal party committee's thematic education work arrangements, and mobilize and deploy the school's thematic education work.

Since the launch of the thematic education, the school has held study sessions totaling 178 days, conducted over 400 specialized party lectures, trained 13,550 party members, and completed 33 projects on the transformation of research findings. Typical experiences and practices have been reported twice on the official website of the central thematic education, adopted three times in the thematic education bulletins of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee, and reported 28 times by provincial-level and above media such as Chongqing Daily. The school has made solid progress in areas such as in-depth theoretical study, rigorous research investigations, effective transformation of results, and active supervision of rectification and reform. NO.2 Chongqing Jiaotong University's Party Building Leads to New Momentum

Summary: In 2023, the school continued to strengthen party building, relying on platforms and teams to rename 20 party branches, continuously cultivate unique party building brands, and maintain 100% of "double leaders" in the teaching and staff party branches. The school selected and equipped 58 "entrepreneurship and innovation" mentors, initiated the creation of a new era of Hongyan Pioneer transformative organizations, added 3 municipal-level "entrepreneurship and innovation" projects, and recommended 5 projects to the Ministry of Education for selection. Disciplines and Majors Reach a New Level

Summary: In 2023, Chongqing Jiaotong University successfully obtained approval for a postdoctoral research station in Management Science and Engineering. A total of 12 new stations were approved for universities in Chongqing this time, including 3 for municipal universities. So far, the school has 4 postdoctoral research stations in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water Conservancy Engineering, and Management Science and Engineering.

Summary: In 2023, the Ministry of Science and Technology successively announced the annual review results of the National Key R&D Program projects, and Chongqing Jiaotong University took the lead in undertaking two National Key R&D Program projects. So far, the school has been approved for two National Key R&D Program projects and three sub-projects, receiving over 52 million yuan in central government funding. This marks a significant breakthrough for our school in leading national key R&D program projects.

Summary: In 2023, the 18th "Challenge Cup" National College Students' Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Work Competition, jointly hosted by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the All-China Federation of Students, and the Guizhou Provincial Government, was held at Guizhou University. Chongqing has identified the first batch of 10 key construction communities and 15 pilot construction communities for the integration of ideological and political courses in universities, middle schools, and primary schools, providing an important platform for the integrated construction of ideological and political courses in universities, middle schools, and primary schools across the city.
